Butter

Butter is re-engineering salary for shift workers by making salary real-time. We have a belief that creating a direct link between work and pay through real-time salary will fundamentally shift the way we think about work and our motivation for working. We also believe thinking about money is hard, and that there are a lot of things we can do with behavioural design to make it easier. Thus we work in an extremely customer-centric way to create products that are helpful, fun to use but also change the way we think about work and pay. Employers get a more motivated workforce, who are more likely to take shifts and can save their finance / HR teams a lot of time by ensuring their employees always understand which shifts they are getting paid for at which times. We are a venture-backed company, backed by Founders who have built fantastic companies such as Pleo and Kontist.

Encope

Today, about 1% of the Danish population lives with Epilepsy, which corresponds to about 55,000 people. Epilepsy is thus one of the most frequent neurological disorders, resulting in significant impact on individual's quality of life which simultaneously leads to societal costs in terms of financial support and treatment. Due to the increased digitalization, citizens of the future will have a more central and active role in their own treatment and health. Researchers and practitioners in the field of design and health work more closely together to create welfare technologies that are intended to increase the quality of life of the citizen. Encope is an assistive technology in an app with the aim to support the coping skills of an epileptic after a rehabilitation course at the Epilepsy Hospital, Filadelifa. Currently, the patients at Filadelfia are experiencing challenges regarding the use of the learned strategies and tools after the rehabilitation course, returning to their everyday environment. Encope helps to structure and visualize the individuals energy level, fatigue and daily activities. The user has the responsibility to reflect on his own condition, to avoid being overstimulated.

Got Skills

Our video presentation: https://vimeo.com/266719580/cb89d3400b-------------------------------------------------WHAT´S GOING ON?We see an ever-increasing trend where young people spend more and more time creating video content and sharing it.We see it at SNAPCHAT, YOUTUBE, TIK TOK, INSTAGRAM and many other places. Here we have thought, "How can we make it more fun to make videos?" How can we differentiate ourselves and do what the others do better and more original?SoMe and Gaming apps have long needed innovative and new ideas. Therefore, it is with pride that we can now present our app.GOTSKILLS.GotSkills is a game where users create videos with things they are good at. The game element is that the users only have 10 seconds for each video, but can earn stickers that allow to make longer videos.Platforms like Instagram and Musical.ly are centered on the users' exposure of themselves, among other things to show their skills. We differentiate ourselves by "gamifying" the whole experience. The game element constantly creates small success experiences and removes focus from whether you have a thousand or a million followers. The process itself becomes a fun and rewarding game - a level at a time. Our unique in-game currency is "Time stickers" that provide users with bonus seconds for their videos. They also function as collectibles that can be bought and exchanged. The player is rewarded with "Time stickers", for activities such as inviting friends or logging in to the app several days in a row. All this helps generate content for GotSkills. To avoid bullying, we have no comment system. Users, on the other hand, have the opportunity to reward extra good videos by sending "stickers" to the video owner. In this way we create an environment where positive reward and motivation are at the center. Our primary target audience is the digital natives who have grown up with smartphone, games and who are not afraid to expose themselves. But GotSkills is for everyone, and therefore the opportunities are also great for companies that choose to use GotSkills as a business partner when it comes to advertising a new product, or creating "brand-awarness,". See more about this in the next section.MONEY MONEY MONEYmain areas. :1) In-app purchases2) Add banners / advertisements3) Brand Competitions4) Sponsor dealsWe have worked hard to create a business model that feels positive and potential for the users. The app itself is free, as a high number of active users is a prerequisite for our business. Jamii.one

Jamii.one is developing a digital platform to enable unbanked people access to the financial system. In low-income communities, a popular and established method of saving up is to join a savings group where you save up as a community rather than individually. Our app is built to digitalise and support these groups. Group members can use our app to record their savings and lending history, which creates a unique credit score. This credit score enables our users to gain access to financial services that they have previously been excluded from. The groups also learn business skills and how to use technology, empowering them to improve their future. Our app is co-created with more than 600 people in savings groups, basing the solution on their needs and abilities. They define the structure; we provide the tech and build the bridge between up to 1 billion people and the financial system.

Kanpla
